Dog It Up

1. Our Commitment to Excellence

Dog It Up is a premium pet lifestyle brand dedicated to the dignity, welfare, and well-being of every animal in our care. We carefully source, assess, and place high-quality companions with responsible and conscious owners. Our process is designed to ensure that every journey into companionship begins with health assurance, transparency, and professional oversight.

2. Reservation and Commitment Policy

Commitment Deposit:

To begin the sourcing, medical assessment, and reservation of a specific animal, a non-refundable commitment deposit is required.

Cancellation and Deposit Forfeiture:

Once a reservation has been confirmed, any cancellation, withdrawal, or change of decision by the client will result in forfeiture of the deposit. This is necessary to cover administrative efforts, veterinary evaluations, reservation costs, and the potential loss of placement opportunity for the animal.

3. Health Verification and Handover

Pre-Delivery Health Assessment:

Every animal placed through Dog It Up undergoes a professional wellness examination prior to handover. Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming are completed and documented before delivery.

Inspection at Handover:

At the time of handover, the owner or their authorised representative is encouraged to inspect the animal. By accepting handover, the owner confirms satisfaction with the animal’s apparent health, breed characteristics, and physical condition.

Post-Handover Responsibility:

Once the animal has been handed over and enters the owner’s care, full responsibility transfers to the owner. As living beings, animals may be affected by environmental changes, stress, dietary adjustments, or other biological factors. Dog It Up shall not be held liable for illness, injury, or death occurring after the animal has left our direct supervision.

4. Nutritional and Behavioural Responsibility

Importance of Proper Care:

The long-term health and temperament of a Dog It Up companion depend significantly on the quality of care provided by the owner.

Owner Compliance:

Dog It Up may provide general nutritional, behavioural, and care guidance. It is the owner’s responsibility to follow these recommendations and ensure timely veterinary follow-ups. Dog It Up shall not be responsible for health, behavioural, or temperament-related concerns arising from improper care, unsuitable diet, neglect, or failure to seek appropriate veterinary attention.

5. Ethical Standards

Respect for Animal Welfare:

Dog It Up is committed to treating every animal with care, dignity, and respect. We promote responsible companionship and ethical ownership at all times.

Finality of Placement:

Due to the sensitive and living nature of animal placement, all sales and transfers are final. Dog It Up does not offer returns, exchanges, or reversals on the basis of change of mind, personal preference, or minor adjustment concerns after handover.
